This collaboration resulted from McGhee Management marketing executive Mark Stroman visiting Japan and becoming aware of the impact of J-Pop bands and the similarity of product packagaing and costuming and the parallels with KISS. The girls from Momoiro Clover Z sing backing vocals throughout the track, similar to how KISS do the same on the girl's Japanese song (Yume no Ukiyo ni Saitemina - lyrics by Iwasato Yuho). KISS perform the backing track on both versions. Momoiro Clover Z were also scheduled to perform at KISS's March 2015 Tokyo Dome concert.

The music for the song was composed by Paul Stanley and Greg Collins with Paul writing the English song lyrics.
