RIAA/Sales:
"Lick It Up" was certified gold by the RIAA on 12/22/83 and platinum on 12/19/90. It has sold over 101,000 (3/12) copies since the SoundScan era commenced in 1991. The album was certified gold by the CRIA (Canada) for sales of 50,000 copies on 2/1/84.
Performed Live:
As had been the case with the previous album, plenty of material was immediately added to the set for the "Lick It Up" tour: "Exciter," "Lick It Up," "Young And Wasted," "Gimme More," and "Fits Like A Glove" were all first performed live, Oct. 11, 1983. "All Hell's Breakin' Loose" followed in January 1984. Paul Stanley also (finally!) dusted off "A Million To One" for his 2006/7 solo tour.
