Notes:
- This show was reported in local press as being sold-out (11/14/77). The band flew into Oklahoma City, from New York's LaGuardia airport, the day prior to the show following a band business meeting where they were advised that Carl Glickman would close a coal mining deal that would require each partner to invest $185,000.
- From a local review: "KISS -- rock and roll's answers to comic book super heroes -- exploded onto the Myriad stage Tuesday night with a dazzling display of predictable theatrics and borrowed rock riffs... But to their rabid fans, KISS can do no wrong. The near sellout crowd was on its feet throughout, cheering wildly at everything from a mere change in lighting to an occasional genuine show of musicianship... Their music alone is sometimes painfully boring, unimaginative, brain-pounding hard rock, but their visual antics are always interesting" (Oklahoma Journal, 11/17/77).
- Detective was more than a vehicle for former Silverhead singer Michael Des Barres. The band's line-up included original Steppenwolf guitarist Michael Monarch and original Yes keyboard player Tony Kaye. They were completed by bassist Bobby Pickett and drummer John Hyde. The band was supporting their second and final studio album, "It Takes One to Know One" (Swan Song/Atlantic).
- An average AUD recording from this show circulates.
