Notes:

- More of a nightclub than a concert venue, The Brewery was a major part of the music scene for Michigan State University in the era, and just about any band touring at the time made the venue a stop on their itinerary. Technically the venue's capacity was 700, but it was often substantially oversold -- especially for major national acts. According to State News reporter Jack Bodnar, who was a fixture at the venue covering live events, "Whether you were drinking, doing something else or just getting off on the music at the Brewery, it was incredibly memorable. Nobody went to the Brewery and only had a good time, they had a great time. It was one of those too-good-to-last places" (Lansing City Pulse).
- From a local review: "Surprisingly, KISS has strong enough pull in East Lansing to sell out the Brewery for two consecutive nights -- though this might be easily explained when one considers the group's rising popularity in Detroit. In fact, only a Detroit crowd could have loved this band on Monday night, as it pioneered new loudness levels previously only reached by the legendary Blue Cheer. At uniform blast intensity, KISS drove the very rowdy crowd to near ecstasy" (State News).
- A great soundboard recording of this show circulates. Unfortunately, currently the bulk of the remaining dates on the tour are devoid of archival recordings.
- Considering the size of the club there was most likely a local or no opening act.
